Kids judge a holiday by two things: animals and water. This Thailand family tour package is planned around both. Over 5 nights you get an elephant sanctuary morning and Mini Siam in Pattaya, then Safari World and a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya in Bangkok. Both hotels are 3-star with pools. One big thing a day, never two. Children fade by 3pm in Thai heat, so the elephant morning is followed by a free afternoon in the pool. Mini Siam happens on the morning you leave Pattaya, before the coach to Bangkok. Safari World gets a full day with lunch and hotel transfers included, so nobody is hunting for food with a tired five-year-old in tow. Day 5 is slow: a free morning, then the dinner cruise once it cools down.
Grandparents coming along? Safari World's drive-through section is done sitting in a vehicle, and the cruise is a seated buffet. Walking is the main effort on the busy days, not climbing.
Two nights at Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central, a short walk from Beach Road. Then three nights at ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4, which has a rooftop pool and is near Nana BTS station, with plenty of Indian restaurants around. The road legs from the airport to Pattaya and from Pattaya to Bangkok are on the shared Bell Travel coach, which drops you at the hotel by minivan. The airport drop at the end is a private Toyota Innova, with room for two adults, two kids and the bags. Safari World details and show timings are on the official Safari World website.
Families with children roughly 4 to 14, and joint families who want one easy trip. Indian passport holders can visit visa-free for up to 30 days (from 15 September 2026). After immigration, find the Bell Travel desk on level 1 at Suvarnabhumi for the shared coach to Pattaya. A minivan drops you at Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central. Coaches leave on a timetable, so there can be a short wait. Once you are in, let the kids loose in the pool. Beach Road is a short walk away.
Morning pick-up for the elephant sanctuary. You watch the elephants swim and roll in the mud, and the kids help prepare their food. There is no riding. A meal, water, tea and coffee are part of the programme. You are back by early afternoon. Save the rest of the day for the pool or Beach Road.

Check out, then the half-day Mini Siam tour: the Grand Palace, Wat Arun and the Eiffel Tower, all at knee height. It makes a good preview of what you will see in Bangkok. In the afternoon the shared coach takes you to Bangkok, and a minivan drops you at ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4. Sukhumvit has Indian restaurants a short walk away for dinner.

Hotel pick-up for Safari World. The morning is the drive-through Safari Park, with giraffes, zebras and big cats seen from the vehicle. After the international buffet lunch, the Marine Park runs its shows through the afternoon, and the dolphin show is the one kids remember. You are back at the hotel in the evening.

A slow day. Sleep in, use the rooftop pool, or add Dream World or SEA LIFE Bangkok if the kids still have energy. In the evening, take the BTS or a Grab to the pier for the Grand Pearl dinner cruise: a buffet with vegetarian dishes, live music, and Wat Arun lit up as the boat passes.

Breakfast and check-out by noon. A private Toyota Innova takes you to Suvarnabhumi. Leave three hours before an international flight, because Bangkok traffic is unpredictable and check-in queues with kids always take longer than planned.
