There’s something to be said about boarding a boat with the sun in the sky feeling the wind in your hair and seeing the azure waters below that never gets old. We’ll start our island hopping adventure by boarding a boat in the Ao Nang Pier and heading to our first stop, Railay Beach.

On every visitor’s list, Railay is actually a small peninsula known for its spectacular sands, majestic limestone cliffs, and a host of natural caves, lagoons, and cliffs. We’ll spend an hour exploring the area, swimming and snorkeling in the cool waters before we hop back on our boat.

We’ll disembark at Chicken Island next; it got its name from the curiously shaped rock formation at its southernmost tip, which many associate with a chicken. Home to pristine shores and crystal clear waters, we’ll have time to paddle around the waters and relax on the sand before walking across a sandbar, which surfaces at low tide.

At Tub Island, we’ll don our snorkeling gear and float around, catching a glimpse of colored fish and other marine life. You don’t even need your mask to see beneath the surface, the water is so clear. Huge cliffs rise from the sea here as well, amplifying the beauty of powdery-white shores and turquoise waters.

Finally, we’ll hop to Poda Island for a hearty buffet lunch at the well-reviewed restaurant. After the meal, feel free to explore the nearby coral reef or simply relax on the beach.
