Dhow Cruise Dubai Price in Indian Rupees: Marina vs Creek (2026)
A dhow cruise in Dubai is a two-hour-or-so evening sail on a wooden dhow with a buffet dinner and some entertainment on board. What you pay depends on three things: where the boat sails (Dubai Marina, Dubai Creek or the Dubai Water Canal), how good the buffet is, and whether hotel transfers are included. This guide puts the prices in Indian rupees, shows what TripCabinet charges today for each cruise we sell, and explains which one suits which kind of trip.
Dhow cruise Dubai price: the quick answer
The cheapest cruises in Dubai are on the Creek. Operators advertise basic Creek dinner cruises from about AED 50–100 per adult (roughly ₹1,300–2,600), usually without transfers. Marina cruises are advertised from about AED 120–150 (roughly ₹3,150–3,900). Premium boats cost more: glass-enclosed decks, a 5-star buffet, live music or hotel pick-up and drop-off. Rupee figures use the exchange rate on 17 September 2026 (1 AED ≈ ₹26). Advertised starting prices move often, so treat them as a guide rather than a quote.

A few things in this table are easy to miss:
- Child age bands are not the same on every boat. One Marina cruise prices children aged 4–9, another 5–12, the canal cruise 4–11 and three others 3–11. A 10-year-old can pay the adult rate on one cruise and the child rate on the next.
- Transfers are not always included. The Marina Sunset, Marina Royal and Creek Royal cruises include hotel pick-up and drop-off. The Luxury Marina cruise with live music and the Canal cruise do not, so add a taxi if you book those.
- "Per group" rows are whole-boat prices for a private booking, not a price per person.

Dubai Marina: the modern skyline
A Marina cruise sails past the towers, hotels and yachts of Dubai Marina, lit up after dark. It is the glossier option and the one most people picture when they think of a dinner cruise in Dubai. Dubai Creek: old Dubai
The Creek is where Dubai's trading history lives: wooden dhows, the souks and the older districts of Deira and Bur Dubai. Creek cruises are usually cheaper and feel more traditional. Our Creek Royal cruise lasts about two hours and has an open-air upper deck and an air-conditioned lower deck, which helps in the warmer months.
Dubai Water Canal: glass-enclosed and newer
The canal cruise uses a glass-enclosed boat and shows a newer side of the city. Transport is not included, so it suits travellers staying close to the boarding point.

What to check before you book
- Vegetarian food. Buffets usually have vegetarian dishes, and one of our Marina cruises lists vegetarian options among its inclusions. If you need Jain food or no onion and garlic, ask when you book rather than on board.
- Alcohol. It depends on the boat's licence. Three of the cruises above list alcoholic drinks as excluded. Soft drinks are included on most.
- Dress. Smart casual is safe. One operator asks guests to wear smart clothing and shoes.

Is a dhow cruise worth it?
For most Indian families and couples, yes, as long as expectations match the price. A budget Creek boat is a pleasant, simple dinner on the water. A premium Marina or canal cruise is a nicer evening out, with better food, less crowding and transfers taken care of.
