This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for our travel and tour packages. By making a booking (“Booking”) or using our services, you agree to the following terms. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.


1. SCOPE OF POLICY

  1. This Policy applies to all Bookings for travel and tour services provided by Tripcabinet, including but not limited to international tour packages, flights, hotel accommodations, transfers, and related travel services.
  2. In case of any conflict between this Policy and the specific terms of a travel package or supplier, the specific terms provided by the supplier or detailed in your booking confirmation will prevail.

2. CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

2.1. Non-Refundable Bookings (Within 14 Days of Travel)

  • Non-Refundable Window: If you make a Booking within two weeks (14 days) of your scheduled travel date, such Bookings are strictly non-refundable, except in cases where the supplier’s policy offers a different provision.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 14 days before the departure or check-in date will not be eligible for any refund.

2.2. Refundable Bookings (More Than 14 Days Before Travel)

  • Partial/Full Refund: Bookings canceled more than 14 days prior to the travel date may be eligible for a partial or full refund, subject to supplier policies and the nature of the services booked.
  • Supplier-Specific Policies: Airlines, hotels, and other third-party suppliers may have stricter or separate cancellation fees. In such cases, the supplier’s policies will govern the portion of the Booking related to them.

2.3. Procedure for Cancellation

  1. Written Request: To initiate a cancellation, you must submit a written request via email to sales@tripcabinet.com.
  2. Booking Details: Provide your Booking reference number, travel dates, and any other relevant details to facilitate the process.
  3. Confirmation: After receiving your cancellation request, we will confirm the cancellation and applicable charges (if any) via email.

3. CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY TRIPCABINET

3.1. Force Majeure

Tripcabinet reserves the right to cancel or modify your Booking if unforeseen circumstances arise, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, or airline strikes. In such situations, we will make reasonable efforts to:

  • Offer you alternative arrangements of a similar standard and price.
  • Provide a partial or full refund if no suitable alternative is available and a refund is obtained from the relevant suppliers.

3.2. Supplier Cancellations

If a supplier (airline, hotel, activity operator) discontinues or cancels a service, we will notify you as soon as possible. Refunds or travel credits will depend on the supplier’s policies and any funds returned to Tripcabinet.


4. REFUND PROCESS

4.1. Eligibility and Amount

  • Cancellation Charges: All cancellation or administrative fees, as well as any penalties imposed by suppliers, will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Non-Refundable Components: Certain components such as airline tickets, visa fees, and booking deposits may be wholly or partially non-refundable depending on the supplier’s terms.

4.2. Refund Method

  • Original Payment Method: Refunds (if applicable) will typically be processed back to the original payment method used, whether it is Razorpay, credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
  • Alternate Methods: In some cases, we may process refunds through an alternate method (e.g., bank transfer), as agreed upon with you.

4.3. Processing Time

  • Timelines: It may take up to 14 business days or more for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider and bank processing times.
  • Delays: In certain cases (e.g., force majeure events, supplier bankruptcy), the refund process may be delayed beyond our control. We will keep you informed in such scenarios.

5. DEPOSITS AND ADVANCE PAYMENTS

  1. Non-Refundable Deposits: Some tour packages or special promotional offers require a non-refundable deposit. In these cases, the deposit amount will be forfeited if you cancel your Booking, regardless of the cancellation date.
  2. Balance Payment: If you fail to make the remaining balance by the due date (as communicated by Tripcabinet), we reserve the right to cancel your Booking, and any paid amounts may be subject to applicable cancellation charges.

6. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS & SERVICES

  1. Supplier Policies: Since we operate as an intermediary between you and various suppliers (such as airlines, hotels, tour operators), their specific cancellation and refund policies will also apply.
  2. Additional Charges: Some suppliers may impose taxes, fees, or other charges that are non-refundable. These amounts will be deducted from any potential refund.
  3. No Liability: Tripcabinet is not liable for any supplier-related issues, such as their failure to provide services, insolvency, or breach of contract. We will, however, strive to assist you in seeking any available remedies.

7. EXCLUSIONS

This Policy does not cover:

  • Voluntary Changes: Additional fees for voluntary date changes, seat upgrades, or other modifications requested by you.
  • Visa Denials: If a visa is denied or your travel documentation is incomplete, standard cancellation charges will apply.
  • No-Shows: Failing to show up for your flight, hotel check-in, or activity booking at the scheduled time will generally result in no refund or partial refund based on the supplier’s policies.
